Welcome to My Photography Hut Hi I'm Sam the lens-wielding wizard behind this blog. Before we start Let’s get one thing straight: I’m here to capture the magic in the mundane, the joy in the ordinary, and maybe a few heads in the frame (finally). I am not professional photographer. So, imagine a middle-aged woman armed with a camera, ready to seize fleeting moments like a ninja in comfy shoes or that’s how photography make me feel the reality is I am now a wheelchair user with a different perspective on images that I had when I was walking. Its hard to take a photo when all you see in front of you is peoples backs but determination and a lot of waiting to capture the image I’m hoping for, That’s me. My journey began over 20 years ago, back when film cameras ruled and developing photos felt like waiting for Christmas – only to discover Santa chopped off everyone’s heads. As a single mum, affording that was a luxury I couldn’t indulge in. Fast forward to the era of SLRs, and voilà, my passion for photography was reignited, with instant results and no decapitated memories. Fun fact: I still have six rolls of undeveloped film stashed away. They’re like little time capsules of my past, possibly featuring a lot of top halves of people. This isn’t just a blog; it’s a visual diary of my adventures with a camera. Whether it’s the majestic aerobatics of the USAF and RAF over my house or candid moments at events, I’m here to share my world one click at a time. I’m not here to teach or preach or even get rich I here just to share my photos • Aviation Enthusiast: Living under a flight path has its perks. I get front-row seats to some incredible airshows right from my backyard. Watching jets dogfight is my kind of Netflix binge. • Event Explorer: I love attending events and capturing the essence of the moment. Whether it’s the spark of joy or the glaze of boredom on someone’s face, I’m there with my lens to document it all. • Animal Aficionado: From wild critters to zoo dwellers, animals are a constant in my photography.
